I just installed mine so I really can't say but they are very well made and should last quite a few years.
I got them. Best bang-for-the-buck longtube header out there.
i just found some that i wanted to buy Do you NEED a new y pipe cause i need a catted one for emissions?
Yes you will need to get a new Y pipe to work with longtubes.
i saw where people get catted ones but i cant find any tho
texas speed sells a catted y pipe
they do sell a catted Y, but from my experience, its gonna be a bitch to fit and alot of work if you do it yourself. AND the cat might hit the car as well as be a pain for ground clearance. i think im going to get an ORY so itll fit nicer and ill modify it, and swap from ORY to Catted for emissions tests
i'm going to do an ORY mostly because they dont do a visual inspection just computer
I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've heard from several people on this forum and ls1tech that said they looked under the car in CT. I'd really like to find out for sure so I can save the $200 that i'd spend on being quieter and slower.

well for one thing, the past two times my SS has been to emissions they havent looked under, they didnt look for my volvo, and we go to the same place so who knows
and another option is to find a shop that does emissions and ask them how they inspect, maybe if the guy seems cool tell him ur situation and he might just pass you anyways
My SS is good for 2 years now !!! ORY here i come, hopefully CT will nix emissions again
expertech, manchester CT
yea but not at school
I have pacesetters and they are very good and the install is pretty easy. You will need a y-pipe. I'd suggest Texas speed and Performance
well i dont think so man, chec out speed inc, the site i sent you they have a sweet ORY package
