At a car show I saw a vette that had these polished metal door holders....to hold the door in place so that it doesn't swing out and nobody can open the door further.
where do you get those?

I simply made my own from 3/16 brass rod from the hardware store.
thanks!
$40... that's rape
go to home depot you can get a damn aluminum dowel for dirt cheap... bend to fit.. if you want the fancy rubber caps you can get a hole pack for a buck or two there also... or take the rubber cap off a couple clothes hangers while you're at walmart and pocket them =)
i couldn't ever pocket anything but thanks for the other suggestions ;)
You can buy the rubber caps at the local auto parts store. Thats what I used on my brass 3/16 rods.
yeah walmart, home depot, autozone, they all carry them
Why would someone do this ... doesnt your door stay open if you slightly leave it open ?
ever seen a kid running around and hit a slightly open door? hitting the car next to it? NOT a good thing. or even wind gusts ive seen.
what stang said ;)
