Gayest ricer race/GTP top speed

Well I just wasted 10 min of my life and 5 bucks in fuel. I was leaving my girlfriends house and i just so happen to see about 10 cars all fly by my on this highway where all the street races go down. I instantly realize whats going on, theres a race. I turn around and catch up to them. I then witness a worst races ever. A 2000 Grand Prix GT vs a 1998 escort ZX2. Sad I know. They are both avid ricers equiped w/ the mighty underglow, fart cans, and stickers. The grand prix beats the escort pretty easily. I was already pissed about the shitty slow race, so when my buddy in his stock 01' GTP pulls out I was happy to see him get on it pretty hard. I decided late to catch up to him to see how fast that thing was. I was running 145 when I calmy turned on my blinker and passed him. He was pissed when I did that because He thought his GTP could keep up with my car. I guesed that he was running about 135 when i passed him. Isnt the top speed of those GTPs about 140? The shitty part is he now refuses to race me untill he mods the GTP with his tax money.

hahaha I had a little run in with a gtp last night hahaha

I was at Wal-mart with my girl and I had just parked and while the car was running I decided to rev a little to listen to my exhaust with my headers. I was revving like 1-2 hold it 2-3 hold it 3-4 hold it and so on up to about 5

I was told by a exhaust shop that i had a "busted header"(when you hit the header with the palm of your hand from the bottom on the driver side it rattles. I see no exhaust leaks but I've got a rattle. Nothing I can't live with until I upgrade to kooks or qtp lts)

anyhow this guy comes out to his gtp which is parked 2 spaces over and up one, and he's all looking at my car. It was really really funny because when he got into his gtp and started it HE REVVED IT! I had this confused look on my face...

I guess he thought I was revving at him. Made me laugh after that.

Haha nice, I seen a 90 somethinish tiburon and a pontiac g5 race in town today:dot: It was pointless both had no clue what they were doin, one would slow down then speed up and the other would pass him, made no sense.. Anyways, I had a run in with a GTP the other night, I can't say that they are exactly slow, he kept up with me (about 1 car length back)till about 85mph, then I started pullin more, but overall I was impressed with them..

hahahaha, guess what I saw today. I saw one of those 2door luminas with some dual exhaust on it :lmao: it was funny they passed me and I heard some pipes didn't know where they came from though so I was looking around and then I saw the big ass exhaust tips. They were some of those import tips that cut upward dual/dual on each side. Made me laugh a little. I got next to them on the highway and dropped into 3rd around 65-70 just messin around to let them hear my exhaust(I wanted to do 2nd at 65 but I didn't want to scare them)and they looked at me like I was crazy:ughlaugh:

LOL, yea i know, i was on a 10 mile flat stretch of highway, i could hardly resist.

I have had mine to 130 mph and had a lot left, but I am not real comfortable at those speeds. Without some suspension mods, gtp's aren't real fun at those speeds. I have lowered mine and have some better struts. Remember, not all GTP's are slow... :)
