Ok im wondering if this is possible to do.
I got a standard VGA male connector coming from my xbox360 HD cable, is it possible to get certain sorts of connector adapters, gender changers etc. to make it able to plug into a DVI-"D" plugin on my LCD PC monitor?
I have heard of people playing the 360 on their monitors but im not sure how they did it
Most likely, my video card on my computer has a DVI slot on it and I've seen loads of connectors and what not, I'm sure its possible.
what games do you have for your 360? sorry to get off topic.
just get an adaptor to make it fit into your computer best buy should have them
if we have em at best buy they'll be either online or in the computer section, i know we wont have them in home theater. thats gonna take a little work to make that connection. i'd take a look at some of the online stores like the ones that sponsor avs forums they'd be more likely to have em
ok, well i found out that i have to get a converter to make it accept analog signals because DVI-D are only digital.
Bmyers, the games for my 360 are: Oblivion,NFS most wanted, Gears of war, NCAA07,tiger woods 07,saints row. Ive got wwe, sonic the headghog,fifa 06 and some others on the way, ive got a modded 360 so games are like $8

If you had one of the new 360's coming out with HDMI you could do HDMI to DVI, my tv has a DVI and could use it as pc screen but really don't see the purpose
well i found out that i need a dvi-d convertor because dvi-d is straight digital and dvi-i is analog and digital. O well. But anyways, i get the games cheap because i got a modded 360 from this guy from this website. They flash the dvd drive and rip the security sectors off the games so you can play them on a burnt dvd. And then he sells the games for like 8-10 bucks, its fantastic if you ask me, beats paying $60 for games, you can also rent games and rip the sectors off yourself if you know how to do it. I bought the first xbox modded this way with all kinds of crap on it, im talking like thousands of NES, sega, Neo Geo games and 160 gig HD, but i sold it to BADBLUEBIRD on here, then he ruined it LOL, but he loved it too. Let me know if you want to know where to get the modded ones.
I had one of those xboxs' just rent the game then download it on was awesome. didnt know they were coming out with 360's with hdmi though that kind of pisses me off cause my tv has it.
