what heads to use
i have a set of 241 heads that have been ported and polished.they have had 2.02 valves and 1.60's put in and milled .030 for compression.then i have a set of stock 243 ls6 heads.i would of course swap the spirings over and have them milled .030 for compression also.these would be going on a 2001 ls6 with,ls6 intake,42 lb svo injectors, the cam is 598 lift 234 duration,1.7 roller rockers, standard bore and stroke.pistons have been fly cut for the cam.i'm just going back and forth on the heads.the 241s with the work done flow just over 300 at .500.should i use them or the 243s or go ahead and have the 243s worked and bigger valves installed.i'm guessing the 241 with the work thats been done will be better than the stock 243s and i would not gain that much over the worked 241s by having the 243s worked and using them.what does everybody think?also what throttle body would be best for the same engine.right now i have a factory piece with the iac passage filled and drilled and it has been ported and polished.but i hear nick willams throttle bodies are whats hot now.any opinon is appreciated.

Hey gen3,
Not an expert by any means but maybe I can ask you a question. With the work that's been done to the 241s and higher compression would the 241 castings hold up as well as the worked 243 castings under the same compression? Also, I'll PM you some info on a TB.

Your ported 241 castings should be far superior to the 243 stock castings. From what I have read the stock 243's were only a little better than the stock 241's. With those flow numbers and that cam you should make big hp.
