Hey, I just got a skip shift eliminator and was wondering if i'd need to unplug the negative battery terminal to install it? If I put it in without disconnecting the battery, will it still disable the annoying skip shift feature?

I installed mine without unhooking the battery and it works fine. You will like having the ability to shift at any rpm. I got mine from SLP. It's a little snug on the hands reaching up there, but just follow the instructions and it'll be fine.
Battery connected will be fine.
Light will still come on, but the CAGS will be disabled.
If you don't want the light...you can turn it off via tuning software. If you have access to said software.
