I know this'll bring in the faithful to argue, but I'll say it anyways. You're going to have a hard time hitting >400 Cam only. Throw a set of heads in the mix and you're there, but for a 400 RWHP Cam-Car, you'll need to be full bolt on with a medium cam, and a good tune. I believe than any cam can be a D.D. cam with the right tune, but tolerance is the key. I'd recommend a cam in the 228/230 neighborhood, and most importantly, lower your goals. Trust me, going to the dyno (or track) with high expectations is never fun. Go with reasonable and be satisfied, or go with low and be happy.
