i need some serious assistance

to all of you knowledgable people... my name is Ryan and im not going to lie.. i dont know the first thing about cars... i know about the flow stuff.. like intake and exhaust.. thats it.. but what i do know is i want to get the Boyd Caddington smoothie II.. 18X8 on my car.. is this a good choice and most importantly i dont know anything about tires.. what size tires would i get... i won't be racing(peeling out for fun at times) and id like to have a low profile so i can drop it to look tough.. will you help me on the tire size please.. thank you...

thanks for the help... do boyds come in those sizes?.. and lets say i get 18X9.. what is an ideal tire size.. thats whats really tripping me up... +50mm offset for front and back?... write back please
