I don't want to pay to have the a/c recharge on my fiance's car, is there a quick fix for this or what's the deal? Any step by step info would be very helpful. Like...where do i pour the little can of stuff, etc...etc. Thanks.

Pay someone-you don't know what you're doing. It probably has a leak anyway and you'll save money having it diagnosed.
buy a recharge kit at local parts store find low side fitting for a/c system, think it is close to firewall on passanger side, connect fitting from can and charge system. if it has a leak may only work for a day or so.
you can buy the recharge kit that has dye in it and it'll show you where the leak is if there is one.
its actually cheaper in the long run to buy another taurus with working a/c so when other random ford crap breaks you have a duplicate
