HVAC Knobs

Hey, I have been tryin to figure out how to remove my stock 02 WS6 head light and A/C knobs (HVAC Knobs), etc... No one seems to have any info. I am going to replace the stock Trans Am knobs with the stock black Camaro knobs. I have seen it done before- Looks alot better. A guy who performed the mod previously, told me that he couldnt really remember how he got his off, but he thinks he just pulled them real hard to get them off ?? Any help would be appreciated.

use a flathead screwdriver and just pop them off.
