my mother just built a new house, and is super anal about everything. I drove a 1979 camaro z28 down here where i let it sit for about 30 minutes, and ofcourse there was a nice spot of oil there.
she tried to bleach it and put tide on it, cause well she can't wait and think things though.
my question is do any of you know of a product that is great at removing oil stains in your driveway, or maybe a home remedy?
Kitty Liter...let it sit for like 30 minutes...the grind it in good with your foot...sweep it up...wash it off....gone.
i used break cleaner to get mine off if the litter does not work
Oh man, Been waiting to tell someone about this stuff. I bought this stuff called driveup super cleaner at O'rielly auto parts there website is www.driveupusa.com You just pour this crap over the spot let it sit for several hours, there instructions are more detailed. Come back and rinse, the concrete looks BRAND NEW no scrubbing or anything. Only problem is everything around the spot you pour it on looks darker because it actually bleaches it. Best thing i've found yet.
the brake cleaner idea works good
I use Kitty litter followed by Professional concrete driveway cleaner. Pressure washer helps out too

yeah kinda a reverse stain :brick: but on a newer driveway like what I felt he was describing it will work great because its new and white already. My driveway was made in 1969 according to the lid on my toilet :) So it has some wear and tear.
simple green max ....i just sprayed it on it and let it rain and my 8 foot stain was gone (not from my car) but it was fresh...i would just let it sit for like 2 hours maybe scrub a little and then use a strong hose or pressure washer a little dish soap just before probably is a good idea too so that it suds up a little to lift the oil up
