stroking lt1
Hi I have a 95 z28 that I want to stroke to a 383.I want to build it for the squires turbo system, and run it at 15psi of boost or as much as I can.I would like to get into the 700hp range if possible.First question, is a 383 the best way to go? I know I need an all forged kit, any recomended kits? also what would be the best cam? I have advanced induction lt1 heads, specs are 2.00/160 manley raceflow valves 265 cfm intake@ peak lift,197cfm exhaust@ peak cam lift. are these heads any good, capable of making big power? or do I need to invest in new heads to. any help would great.

A 383 is great choice, it gives you extra torque to get the turbo spooling, and still leaves alot of meat for the pistons. You could go with a eagle set up, but if you have the extra money, callies stuff will be bullet proof. The heads could work and not bad at 74% ex to int ratio... But I think a thick deck head like AFR's will be the best long term, reliability and power wise and about 77% exto int ratio...
