Billet alloy fuel door info.

A have an eclipse 2000 and up fuel door, but I dont know how to install it on my t/a. Do you take the actual stock door hinge if so how?can anyone help?

I'm at work and found two sites showing how it's done on other cars. I think I have a writeup at home that is on a Camaro (I'll try to find that later). But the process is going to be similar to one of these writeups here.
