I like magnaflow, flowmaster and slp LM1 and LM2. Im looking for a more deeper sound rather then a raspy and crackle sound. what should i go with. im gonna have a big cam in here and longtubes as well.

I like the Magnaflow muffler as well, but I would also choose Borla as a second choice.
Josh, there is a little button up top called the search button. Use it and you will see dozens of threads regarding your exact question.
the flowmaster sounds the best, only problem is it flows the worst
slow master my ass... GMMG... and yes search
-me
what about the 40 series. does that flow any better. how is hooker exhaust. i was thinking of doing all hooker. headers off road y-pipe and muffler.
I have the 40 series on my Grand Cherokee. I don't care about the flow on that thing, just the sound.
I had the same question and im currently in the testing stages myself, i have pacesetter lt,ory and have tried borla, slowmaster, slp dual/dual and currently have a catback i just found out bout and out of the ones i'v tried it sounds the meanest under full throttle and nice rumble at idle. The inside of the muffler is straight thru. I was surprised.
the catback is by flopro
just my observations thou

i have long tube headers, catless y pipe and a hooker exhaust.Quote:

I like Magnaflow.
And the flowmaster sounds good (any series) but flows terrible (any series).
At least in comparison to other mufflers.
They do at least outflow stock parts.
Do you have a sound clip of your exhaust setup?Quote:

With longtubes and a cam, stick with either a magnaflow or dynomax muffler. Loud, deep, no rasp, sounds great. Also, make sure to get high flow cats. Cam and longtubes will both make the exhaust louder.
Without cats, it will be raspy and will cackle.
Borla is raspy IMO.
Loudmouth is raspy and cackles as well.
Then, if you want louder, you can always weld in an electronic cutout. Loud as you like, when you want.
Gmmg
lm2
CORSA!!!! but it will cost a pretty penny
Spintech. :woot:
I like the Corsa. It has a nice rumble and the exhaust note dosen't carry into the car bad.
