Sudden Negative Fuel Trims
I'm scratching my head on this one. The `99 Trans Am had an issue last week where it wouldn't start. I had no fuel pressure. I found the relay to the racetronix how wire kit to be loose. That's the ground that feeds one side of the relays coil. I moved the connection so that I could use a nut, bolt and lock washer to avoid it coming loose again. She fired right off and I thought all was good. Not! The next time I tried to start it, it wouldn't. Fuel pressure was good at 56 pci, I had to crack the throttle for it to start but it wouldn't stay running unless I held the throttle open. The scanner shows me roughly -30 on the trims for both banks. WTH? The fuel pressure never changed. It does smell quite rich. Could more than one injector bit the dust? They only have 25,000 miles on them.
Any ideas?
