Do these dyno results seem right?

Hi to all, first post on this forum!

I have a 99 C5 with a vararam, AR longtubes, high flow cats, x pipe and corsa Indy exhaust. I decided to have it tuned a few years ago and the car runs great. I was looking at the results of the dyno pull and it showed over 400 HP/348 TRQ at the wheels with just the mods shown above. Those results seem pretty good (actually pretty high from what I have seem of others) for the mods that I have and I just wanted to ask if these are typical results with these types of mods?

Looks about right, is it a manual or auto transmission? Manuals tend to dyno a little higher in numbers.

It seems very high to me. A stock C5 vette has 345 hp at the crank which translates to about 290 rwhp. To get over 400 rwhp you would need to have about 480 hp at the crank. An intake and exhaust system with tuning will give you 60 to 70 hp max. So lets say you have 415 hp at the crank with your mods. That will give you about 353 rwhp. I don't know where you would get the extra 50 rwhp.

Yea it does seem high. Ultimately the car is very fast so I'm not going to worry about it. I would like to put a blower on but yikes they are expensive.

Probably a happy dyno, not all that unusual. Odd to see a big spread in HP and TQ though on an internally stock engine. Tells me something is amiss.

Usually you'll see the otherwise stock C5 Z06's, with long tubes, exhaust, air intakes, and a good tune hit the 370-400 RWHP realm so to see a 99 C5 modified the same way hit those numbers is a little optimistic. I would say a setup like yours would likely see HP numbers much closer to the TQ numbers you have.

Best way to find out is hit the track and see if the ET/MPH runs in line with the HP you're seeing on the dyno verses the weight of the car and track conditions. That will tell you right away.

That's way high, most people are bearly if at all pulling 400 whp with a 228/230ish cam and headers and tune.. a stock z06 won't even pull that.

stock Z06 will dyno at about 355 to the wheels so you with a non z06 pulling 400 with bolt-ons is high to me

Seems like a happy dyno. But that is a odd hp/tq spread.
