Lid and Cutout Ls1 M6-13.0

Havnt been on here in years but anyways, same car though, my last trip to the track last week I was able to pull a 13.09 @ 107 on a 2.02 60'. Lid, cutout, and mickey thompson et street radials. Everything else bone stock factory original. Oh and btw it still has the factory clutch from 1998. Bangin gears, hopefully if the weather is good around here I can net a high 12. :mel:

You are right there for your 12 sec slip. Try changing tire air pressure and run early or late and you should hit your goal.

Thanks, yeah I usually alter around 20-22 psi. 3350lbs without me in it and 1/4 tank of gas, fairly light car(hardtop model) Only weight removal is spare/jack. I believe all I need is some good cool air and a strong launch, I also feel that proper shift time and speed is very crucial in getting these cars to run those times being relatively stock.

Also might leave a little late to give time and try and execute a solid launch

So close! Getting that M6 off the line without bogging or spinning is an art form. Your 2.02 60' is quite good - I think our car's best in stock format (A4) was around a 2.2. What were the conditions like at the track? Ours runs so much better, and faster, in cool dry air.

Thank you, I run at Sacramento raceway In California. Id say 70ft or so above sea level and Id guess the DA was probably 1000 or so in low 70s that night. Yeah Ive also noticed mine likes the cooler air as well.
Might try out my uncles pair of skinnies up front and see how much we can pick up.

I should also state I went 8.50 @ 84.6 mph in the 1/8 mile on the same run. IIRC the 1000' was 10.99

We run dedicated track wheels and tires on our car. Makes a big difference and the weight savings was pretty amazing. If I recall, before we dropped in the new transmission and 3,200 stall converter, the car went 12.8's on the track wheels with just headers, catback and subframe connectors.

Little update and some progress with pictures. Got it down to 12.730 @ 109. Only thing we've done is added Richmond 4.10 gears in the stock ten bolt. New TR55 plugs and a 52" Gates short belt. Looking to get a little more before completing rest of the bolt onsAttachment 26481
