^^^:true:
I'm kinda waiting for an electric drag car to show up on Street Outlaws and see how much fun it would do against those Pro Mods.
:lmao:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That Tesla set the world record for the fastest pass by an electric car, and the Hellcat set the world record for the slowest pass by a Hellcat!!!!! To top it all off, they even red lighted!
WOW - that is some funny stuff!!
Well... that was embarrassing :chuckles:
I'll have to check this out when I get home (can't play vids thanx to work - defense work and all that)...
pretty sure my dmax would've outran that hellcat........sorry ass excuse for a driver and even worse video. 11.6 is still damn impressive but the lack of driving from the dodge owner ruins the entire video. I agree....they should drive it directly back to the dealership and trade it in on a minivan.
That could have been his first time at the track with the car... who knows. I bet no one here would be setting records if they went to the track for the first time with a 700hp car on street rubber. Pretty much every single one of us would blow the tires off or ride the clutch out like a bitch. Or maybe he has had the car on the track a few times and just can't drive. IDK but trapping 87mph, he probably gave up and was coasting.
I thought it was a bad idea to smoke the tires before a run on street rubber?
Isn't that reserved for drag rubber that gets sticky after heating?
That said, 11.6 is pretty darn impressive for an electric family sedan.
Electric motors are all about the torque...
OTOH. how many runs can it make before it's all run out?
The save the pentastar Facebook page is displaying much butt hurt over this :lmao:
why would you take a 700hp car to the strip on stock rubber would be my question
The Tesla's are no joke...The Stig pulled a faster time in a Tesla than he could in a top of the line AMG on a road course last year. The instant torque is pretty significant.
