GM Nationals at Carlisle: June 21 - 23
GM Nationals at Carlisle June 21st to 23rd.
It is once again that time of year to begin our plans for the GM Carlisle Show, held at the fairgrounds in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. We'll need to discuss what we want to do both at the show and in the evenings. We had some good eats and terrible music last year, plus a local go-cart track to play at. In past years, on the fairgrounds we have had a tent, tables and chairs, a sign in sheet, video presentation of members' cars, a raffle, LS1.com goodies for the members - including shirts, coffee mugs and decals (guaranteed to add 5 h.p.), cold drinks, LS1 literature, and display boards taken from our website. I think we had around 20 members make an appearance at our booth last year and close to 30 in 2011.
Members that will be exhibiting their cars on the showfield should pre-register and please select LS1.com as your group.

Last year, we stayed at the Best Western on Harrisburg Pike, but I understand that this may already be booked up. Some members are searching now for other accommodations and will post what they find here. I will be charging $10 per person for any rides back to the hotel requested after 1:00 a.m.! If you do call, please be able to tell me where to pick you up at... had some confusion last year. :lol:
