New Interior *PICS*

Been working on interior make over this winter thought I would share. I had my trim pieces done in carbon fiber, suede center console lid, shifter boot, added a suede e-brake boot, and suede e-brake handle. I'm putting the back seats back in and having them done to match my front seats

Are the back seats even functional with the cage in it?

Yeah its just a bar like an ameusment park ride !

No just for show. I had the back seats out for a few years and always thought something was missing in the back, it looked plain for car shows. So i had the seats recovered. I actually had to shorten the bottom part of seat so I could get it between the cage, but you cant notice.

Well, you went to a lot of expense to make it look right.

How easy or difficult is it to clean suede? Just curious - don't remember ever having to clean that material before.

It is pretty easy. You can pretty much use any upholstery cleaner on it. My charger has suede and it doesn't get dirty all that fast. For the most part just vacuuming it gets everything but every once in a while I will use an upholstery cleaner on it.

That is what I was thinking, but wasn't certain. Good to know.

Have you tried fitting anyone back there?

Or a car seat for that matter?

I like the suede idea. I sometimes get tired of slip sliding around on leather seats. Cold in winter and hot in summer.
