Hey guys i just got done with my lq9 build and i used l92 heads and the same intake. So i also used the injectors that came with the l92, used some wire adapters, and installed them. I was trying to start the engine and nothing. Then i figured that the injectors just didnt open. I installed the stock lq9 injectors and fired right up. Anyone know why they didnt work or how i could make them work?
You most likely need a tune for the l92 injectors to work. My guess is the pcm did not recognize the injectors and their flow rates etc or that there is something wrong with the connectors. Also lq9 and l92 use two different connections at the injector and wire harness, you need an adapter to make them work correctly. You may need something like this:

My dad sells used parts so i got some connections from him and i made myself some adapters. I tested if there was any power in the wires and yes, everything okay just the injectors didnt open. Im thinking just like you said, the pcm doesnt recognize them. Im thinking about getting Hp tuners so maybe i can tune it myself.
