This Holiday Season

Times are tough for people...including some on this site. Remember thouhg, if you can afford to give this holiday season to some charities please do so.

My Masonic Lodge is doing food drives, dinneres.....etc Same with at work. I am involved with a community outreach where we donate to families who are having hard times.

Food, clothing, gift cards....etc

Remember, if you can donate.....please do so. People will appreciate it. With Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon things will get even tighter for people.

The car club I belong to does this ever show we put on.


Our Oct shows - We do it next to the Battleship Alabama, last 4 yrs we been raising $100,000 to build a fallen AL soldier/sailor memorial.

Our Dec show we give the proceeds to women's charity, mostly to support Abused Women's shelter and the other thing we do is adoped a Vet at the local Veterans Home and give them Christmas gifts. Most of them have little or no family that visits. Some times it's hard on us because some of these Vets have passed on the drive up. Those visits are hard.


The other shows we put on earlier in the yr we vary on the charities. The club keeps only what we need for organization fees, everything we raise always goes to some charity. we also help out on food and clothing drives as well as other things.

We sponsored over 10 families last year. Working to get at least 15 this year.....hopefully more.
