Steering wheel control swap?

I saw some pictures a while back of someone who swapped the grey radio steering wheel controls for black ones. They did the same with the HVAC dials and the headlight switch. Was wondering if anyone knew what car they would come out of for a direct swap? Also how hard is it to swap out the radio controls on the steering wheel?

I got the pictures from on here and i remember they said where they got the black ones from, but a search yeilded no results. Any help would be great because i want something to do on my days off :)

I want to do the same myself, just makes everything look cleaner. Lame dull grey......


The black steering wheel controls are in Camaros and are pretty easy to swap iirc. You need to pry/ pull straight out and hopefully your wire harness is long enough to reach to disconnect it from the back of the switch. Plug and play.

Ah awesome Ty for the info... I found the same controls on older model Monte Carlos... So there's another option if your junk yard hunting for those pieces. And i agree, just looks so much better with that black rather then that grey
