Headlight restoration?
Ok I hear that the headlights on Camaro/Firebirds pretty much all do this. The headlight plastic has a yellow/cloudy appearance to it, and I think it looks really ugly. Is there a way to clean it up? I read something about sanding/polishing them. Is the crap on the outside, it feels rough to the touch, so I'd assume it is.
Just tell me what I need, like what grit sand paper, and whatever else I may need. I think if I can get them cleaned up, and almost clear again, it'll make the car look much better. Plus I wouldn't have to buy new ones at like 100-200 each! :yup:

A lot of people have tried it and it just fogs up and can't get rid of it. It will look good at first, but soon after fog up. You can try it, but you will probably get the same results.
If I were you, just buy a new set on ebay :yup:.

Just bite the bullet and buy some new headlights bro. You'll save alot of time and effort in the long run. This also allows you to utilize that TIME to clean other parts of your car that you've been neglecting. My .02
