Ok been thinking about it and I want a larger cam. I'm gonna bite the bullet and order a stall sometime soon,Prolly around a 3600. I want a cam that is going to make 400+ heads,cam,and bolt ons. I would like a powerband similar to stock,don't wanna rev to 7000 to make power ,also car is a dd so I would like to hear from people that dd cams 22X and larger. I've read mixed things on the torquer,I would like to hear some feed back.

Like I said in your older thread, you won't be disappointed with the Torquer V2. I loved mine and "daily drove" it on nice days. I made 445rwhp/395rwtq with some budget 5.3L heads and a FAST90 intake.
yea mine is nice as well, its in a LQ4 and the power really comes on at about 3500 all the way to 7 grand, it was making 486 with open headers and lS6 stage 3 ported and polished heads, like 440 something with the 2.5 inch cat back on, tomorrow though i am putting on a 3 inch magnaflow with resonators and tips i picked up for 50 bucks on CL, complete 3 inch sytem. anyway though, i like the cam in my 6.0 not sure how it will do in an LS1 though.
If you get the TV2 ground on a 111 power comes on sooner and it will pull to about 6500 rpm.

My MS4 is ground on a 111. It is also a daily driver. It pulls to around 6500. My tuner didn't have trouble tuning it. Seems I'm running faster NA than you are with a 150 shot. But you do get better milage than I do. Like I said get a TSP TV2 on a 111. Maybe you should meet my tuner!Quote:

I would suggest going with atleast a cam the size of the TSP Torquer 2. I believe the specs are 232/234. That is a good all around size for a daily driver. I have never rode in a cammed car, and my cam is an 230 cam. I have a vigilante 3200 and it drives great. Very civil. I wish i would have went with just a slightly bigger cam and stall. I think the TSP Torquer 2 and 3600 stall will be a great setup.
IMO, If you really want a cam like the V3 but without so much lift then go with a custom grind from tsp with LSL lobes, at least on the intake side. 231(.617" lsl)/ 234(.598" xer) and a 110-113 lsa. And it won't cost any more than a shelf grind.
Another very good (better) option is 231(.617" lsl)/231(.617"lsl) with a 110-113lsa
I thought you might like some other possible option.
