Hood clearance problem

I'm having a problem with hood clearance with the LQ4 I put in an 82 vette, I have the truck manifold on it, I need to gain about 2 inches, can anyone tell me the Difference in height on the truck manifold versus an ls1, BBK, Fast, or maybe some others. Any input would be appreciated.

i dont know exactly. but im pretty sure it's 2 inches lower and would give you the clearance you need
