I am needing help finding a place to go online for brake rotors. Also, do you guys prefer drilled/slotted or just drilled rotors? I don't like the looks of just slotted rotors.

Get the WS6store rotors. Theyre like 200 bucks for the whole set and they give you the choice to slot or drill or both like I did. I love em.Quote:

I've been running those on my vehicles for 6 or 7 years never cracked 300 all 4 rotors and brakes delivered to your door I just oredered some for my car and SUV they are zink coted so no rust and take the low dust brake pads they work good
I had them on my Durango for 40 000 miles and they didn';t warp or crack great quality for price
I bought mine from eBay. $120 shipped for all. Slotted only
I would say get slotted only.
I have seen pictures of drilled rotors. They get cracked after a while
Thanks for your help. Now I need to decide if I want the rotors to have three or four holes plus the slot.

If you don't like dust, you need to stick to ceramic pads. They are little to no dust, and are sold at R1Concepts. You can get them as a package deal with the rotors much cheaper than piece mealing it out.Quote:

Do ceramic pads work well?
Well, they are not recommended for any type of road racing. They are more of a driver pad which is exactly what I do with them.
Ceramic pads were used from the factory, they generate heat quickly so you get stopping power almost as soon as you touch the brakes, no waiting for the pads to heat up before they work, (like a metallic pad does).
That's why all the OEM manufactures use Ceramic for most applicatons.
I use them primarily for their low brake dust benefit. Some are better than others in that department, but the pads I got from R1Concepts aren't leaving anything on the wheels at all.
If you do alot of aggressive driving with the brakes, I wouldn't go with Ceramic. A good Semi metallic would be better suited for that, and you would just have to live with more brake dust.
My cars a DD...nothing fancy, rarely over 35 mph, lol
I'd have to look back at receipts to see which ceramic pad I used on my wifes camaro. Those things aren't leaving any brake dust at all.
Since recently I did drilled/slotted rotors and pads on my blazer from R1Concepts as well, I went with ceramic pads on that one too,,,,but they are more of a performance oriented ceramic pad (since the blazer is big and heavy). They cost a little more too.
When I got them in, I found they are actually made by Bendix. Now these ceramic pads are actually leaving a film of brake dust on the front wheels after about 3-4 days of driving.
That's something the ceramic pads on my wifes camaro just aren't doing. But again, I used a different brand of ceramic from R1Conepts on her car.
Get ebc pads.
I bought duralast ceramics. The rims have so much dust since I put them on.
Ceramics shouldn't be that way unless they are performance oriented.
I'm using both versions, and there is a huge difference in brake dust,,,from nothing to enough dust to make you think I stuck semi metallics on there.
There are so many versions of pads made now it'll make your head spin.
Tell me about it!! I searched for rotors for a week. It looks like I could look for a year on the pads. Do you guys think any of these pads from a parts house [advance auto, napa, etc] are any good?Quote:
