i have grinded down my calipers and i still have to use a spacer for my prostars... it makes the back wheels look.. awkwardly wide. does anyone have any suggestions?!

The reverse answer to your question is that Bogart makes 15" wheels that will clear the factory calipers. I have a set of D10's on our car for the track. Even though they cleared, I did take the fins down just a bit for an extra safety margin. Pics in this thread: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140243
As far as I know, the guys running other brand 15" wheels have all ground on their calipers to make them fit. I do not recall anyone posting about an aftermarket caliper setup. You may want to check some of the specialty brake manufacturers like Wilwood, Baer and such. Let us kow what you find, please.
Yes, they're called race brakes. I know Strange and Aerospace Components make an Fbody specific kit.
I ground down my rear calipers, no spacer needed. I run a spacer on the fronts, no grinding necesary there.
