Is there any ls6 intakes on the 2000 cars and if so how would I find out
is there a whole above the inlet of the intake that hooks to the exhaust? if so than you have an ls1 intake.Quote:

Check the part number.
Check the p/n on the side of the intake...he could still have an LS6 with EGR if a SLP model was put on the car, so just because there is an EGR provision, does not mean its an LS1.
P/n for my old intakes:
LS1 intake was 12560688
SLP LS6 intake with EGR provision - 12573572
I do not have the p/n for the stock LS6 intakes though. Maybe someone else can chime in.
the vette LS1 intakes before the LS6 do not use EGR
