You will need the PCM from the '02 to run everything. GMHTP has featured some LS swaps exactly like you have planned -- you may want to check their site for back articles. I know there are vendors that make the engine mounts and other adapters that you need to run the gauges and such. As I recall, you need to clearance the k-member just a bit but the overall swap appears to be fairly straightforward.
I will have the whole car to pull parts from. I hope every thing matches up. Thanks for the info about the articles.
