ride around with fat chicks
good one but none allowed in my car!!!
have you tried lowering springs??
I have them just dont know how to install them. I didn't know if their was something else you could do lower it without using the springs. I know I did that to my vette and just figured I could do the same to this one.
No idea on the front, but you can do the heater hose mod in the back. Drop the springs out and remove the big rubber isolater that rides against the underbody. Then run a loop of heater hose around the top spring coil in its place before re-installing the springs. The only other easy way... and I don't recommend this on our cars -- is to utilize a spring compressor that clamps around two coils and pulls them together as you tighten it. It's an old school way of dropping ride height.
Im going to try it out tomorrow after work. Thanks alot I'll let you know if it worked out!!!!
I have Eibach Sportlines and I like them.I wouldnt recommend them on a car with longtubes though! The front isnt that hard, you just need a strut spring compresser,I rented one from AutoZone for cheap. The rears literally slide right in!!
For the fronts there is an upper perch and a lower perch. Right now your stock spring is sitting on the upper perch. Put it on the lower perch and it drops it about 3/4", just like the heater hose mod that Jeff commented on for the rear.
