I have done a lot of work on my Camaro as of late. I scored a coil relocation kit for VERY cheap. So I wanted to get valve covers. Looked at the prices and laughed b/c I am cheap!
So I drank a few beers with a friend and we came up with the idea to cut off the coil packing mounting stands. He is a full time painter and this is what he came up with.

When it warms up a tiny bit i'll put them on the car and get more pictures.

I am lazy, I have wanted to paint my Valve covers for a good long while now. Hmm. I was thinking either Black or Red.
You should grind down the nubs for the coil brackets, fill in the imperfections with epoxy, smooth, and paint again. I got a relocation kit andthats my plan. Just a thought
