Hey everyone.. I own a 99 Camaro SS. Bought it about a month ago.. I was just curious on this. I have been looking around for awhile but I have not been able to find off road h or x pipes. Are these Camaros set up to only run off the stock y pipe formation? any information would be helpful! thanks!
pretty much, you can run X pipes, but theyre usually custom made, never heard of anyone using an H pipe.
La Monte performance (LPP) makes a duals set up for our cars, its really nice, but it hangs low, and isnt inspection friendly in most states.

There are a couple companies that make true dual set ups. Bassani will go over the axle, and TSP will dump before. Depends on what you want.Quote:

Sorry, I didnt mean just the x-pipe.. after re-reading my post I confused myself as well.. I am looking for the full setup.. does anyone know how difficult it is to install? Every exhaust pro that I have called around here wont put on any off road pipes.. so im going to be stuck doing it myself if I decide to get themQuote:

i bought a magnaflow x pipe and have 3 in all the way back over axle. worked prettty good had a few issues due to going over axle thats it though. i definately think its worth it
If you want a true dual mandrel bent system for a 4th gen that you can simply bolt on and go over the axle then it's either this.....

The photo shows one (exhaust pipe) that goes above the upper panhard rod support. The other one is below it and goes between the upper and axle. I would want both over the upper panhard.
