Silverado Kill? IDK

i dont know if this is a kill or not, but last night i raced my friend in his 200X silverado with a 6.0l he has intake and exhaust and is probably around 400RWHP, i only raced him because he said he was keeping up with a 99 fbird V8 the night before, so once he told me that i said, "lets jump on the highway right quick"

we went from 30 mph, i was right in my powerband in first gear, i murdered him needless to say, he was cool with it tho he didnt give any excuses he only said "kinda what i expected"

as for the firebird he said he was keepin up with i dont know the story there.

400 RWHP with just intake and exhaust?!?!? :thinkin:

he had it tuned, he said

most likely it was around 350 RWHP tops, but the truck moves dont get me wrong, i've seen it roast many light civics with intake exhaust chip VTEC

i'm not saying it is the fastest truck ever, i'm just letting you know that he did have somewhat of a chance

it wasnt like racing a stock SS vs a stock civice

Hmm... if it was brand new then the stock 6 liter has 345hp/385tq, same motor as the silverado SS, its got three diff. versions though, the base 300/345 the one in the sierra denali 325/365 and the SS. intake and exhaust with a tune would definetly keep up with a v6 firebird right?
