245 tire should fit with no problem,never taken off plate cover.

for the plate cover if your REQ to take it off for law purposes, there are two screws on the bottem of the plate you have to unscrew

I have 245 with on 18x8.5 and didn't notice anny difference if weight from the factory 16" wheels. I don't think a 245 will make the wheel turn that much easier.
What do you mean it feels heavy, and if you dont like how its performing as in handling, why dont you just invest in suspension upgrades?Quote:
