So I had my power steering pump seize up on me today. Nothing like going 80 mph and ooppss I can't turn my steering wheel. Fun times. Getting it fixed and my coolant flushed so at least it didn't damage anything else.

Much carnage? I take it the belt blew off when the pump siezed.
Good to hear you are OK. That's the most important thing.
Yeah the only damage was a dent under the SS hood vent where the belt popped it and a few hoses were knocked loose. I was very fortunate nothing else went wrong. I just held the car steady and coasted to a stop on the side of the interstate. Scared the crap outta be cause I thought my engine was on fire at first cause of the smoke and nasty smell from the belt.Quote:
