so i have a 99 ss and the light on the car all work, about 3 months ago the search light for the radio went out and then it was # 3 and 6 and now today #1 and 4 went out! is it an easy fix or am i starting to see the need for a new radio soon???

Imho time for a new one.. The monsoontobebroken is'nt worth your time in my oppy... Throwing it down a flight of stairs is the best sound it will ever make..;)Quote:

I agree with everyone else.
Technology has greatly improved since (2002), fine tuning, bluetooth, aux inputs, iPod hook-ups, etc.
Ditch it and dont look back.
aftermarket. alpine. can't go wrong.
don't do pioneer. mine didn't last long. i've been w/o radio for awhile, it shorted out my front speakers and it drains my battery on the daily. so don't do pioneer :D

I still have one of the first detachable faceplate pioneer cd players that came out. Over 15 years old and it still works.
