Spark Plug Gap
I'm in the middle of installing long tube headers I have both of them on.
What is the proper gap for the Spark plugs I have ngk v power?
Also I'm having trouble getting the new motor mount on for the passenger side. I put new poly motor mounts in. the bolt wont go threw the passenger side. I have the new one installed on the driver side. Any suggestions on what to do. I tried jacking the motor up. Using a pry bar to move it over. ANd messed with the trans mount but still no luck.

Mostly stock engine, gap those plugs at .050". Some people will say a little more gap, some will say a little less gap. And they are all right.

Stock LS1 heat gap is .50
Why didnt you get pre gapped ones?

The spark plugs are pre gap at 0.4 from the auto part store and I double checked them, but I've heard different opinion about the gap and wanted to get opinions on it.

as long as your not way off the chart, you won't notice any difference in performance with different gaps. Stay in the .040 to .060 range and you'll be ok.

The stock gap is .060 but NGK specifically says not to open or close the gap more than .008 from the preset so if they came gapped at .040 I would set them to .050
