Hello all. I need of some quick help. Tonight after I accelerated for the first time it felt/sound like a HUGE LOUD clunking under the middle of my driver/passenger seats. It only does it when I "punch it" after stopping. When I pull away slowly it doesn't do it. Thanks.
It's a 97 Trans Am Convert.
Rear end 10 to 1. Some one else will chime in im sure.
Yea, I have 0 knowledge of cars/engines :(. I do know that you can't hear it when you're outside the vehicle.
Torque arm maybe? Could be loose.
could possibly be a ujoint. hopefully is it would prolly be the chapest repair
Tranny mount would be the 1st thing I'd check. If not that then it might be the Torque arm mount. Both are in that area.
