Formula uses the same front bumper as the v-6 car. So you can check flea-bay, craigslist etc. I say craigslist because there are usually some people parting out 98-02 firebirds on there.
I bet a lot of people would make that trade. I considered converting my Formula front end to the TA bumper, but then I changed my mind. Post your offer here and maybe on Craigslist and I bet someone will
If it wasn't so far away I'd trade you the regular 98-02 front bumper cover I have.
what color is your bumper?
The bumper I have is black but texas is too far also and unless you have a transam bumper to trade me, I.m not trying to sell it. But back to post #2 junkyards and craigslist are full of people parting out their 4th gen firebids and the formula uses the standard firebird front bumper cover.
you know it is going to look funny with the t/a side moldings and rear bumper ?
You guys might call me crazy....mine is a 2002 Trans Am FIREHAWK front bumper. I don't like the FIREHAWK front end. I'm going to get a Carbon Fiber WS9 hood and Formula front bumper. The originality of the car doesn't concern me. Check out my pics if you want to see the car. Thanks for all the information.
yep...you are crazy. Very Crazy.
Plus more than 1. Sell the rare firehawk to someone and buy a WS6... Keep the rare bird whole...
But hey, if everybody had the same tastes it'd be a dull world...
hey i got one i'll trade you,
Yep I'll trade you and what you going to do with that hood?
I'm not looking to trade. I have already promised my hood and front bumper to a friend of mine, sorry. I am going to continue checking CL. Thanks for all the feedback.
I'm looking into the future here with my nostradamus glasses:
The year is 2035 and 2 guys are talking:
Guy 1 "That's a nice trans am....bet it's worth a few bucks huh?"
Guy 2 " Not as much as it would be if the original owner hadn't sold the firehawk bumper and hood."
:D
Keep them both......buy new stuff and hold on to the originals so the car can be put back to stock where it'll be worth far more than your average T/A or Formula.
