ALT upgrade.....in pics
The C130 that comes stock is kinda weak....so a worth while upgrade is a AD244.....the 244 can come in a 145 amp or a 105 .....so i go the 145 of course.....local junkyard had 1.....40$......now you have to be careful....use a 2003 truck as a part locator guide.....244's come in different brackets and diff excitor plugs......2 pin and 4 pin......f bods are 4 pin...the 244 is a BIT bigger than the 130....it just cleared the PS lines with a little tweakin......the excitor plug with the 244 in was a bit tight stock....to tight for me.....so i spliced in a new plug with about a extra inch of slack.....i did have some new cable to wire from the alt to the batt....needed for the extra amps IMO......but i cut it to short and will have to get more to finish that part of the job.....enjoy

the rectifier of the 244 is TWICE the size of the 130

the high pressure line i loosened and moved....then tweaked it a little.....so it just cleared......the return line was close....but it was fine....no need to mess with
