so im gettin a regal.
So i got a jamaican friend that has a fenced in piece of land with a shop on it. In that fenced in land, he has:
'64 impala ss
'69 skylark vert
'72 delta 88 vert
'81 regal
'85 regal
and numerous other vehicles.
ive known this guy since 1997..were pretty good buds...currently he is in afganistan workin for haliburton or somethin....he will be back in 3 months...anyway he made me an offer...he wants me put a new engine and tranny that he bought into the 64 ss.....in return, he will give me the 85 regal.
I have seen this regal about 2 years ago and it was in pretty good condition, but the v6 was knockin...i dont care though...ive been wanting a regal for a while to build up, and will probably set the vette to the back burner as soon as i get it..what sucks is that i cant even touch it for 3 months...:brick:

A mildly built 403 will do great in that car. The 403 is the same as the 307 and 350 engines, just a bigger bore and longer stroke. Plenty of after market parts available as well.
What trans is in the car? I'm assuming that it's a 2004R. A nice 3500 stall and a shift kit with a Grand National posi rear end will definitely produce some fun!
My brother has an '84 Hurst/Olds.

i miss my 84. it will only be replaced by a 87 t-type, 87 gn, or 84-97 monte carlo ss. beautiful cars, the only down side to the monte is the plastic bumpers. i like the buick metal ones so much better. no cutty for me thank you. not a fan of their split grills at all.

yea i was thinkin of a 6.0 iron block in this one. but thats after the bodywork and paint are settled. as for right now the car has the pos v6 with the 2004r trans i believe. im hopin that i can get his mother to open the gate up so that i can at least get pics of the car...if not then i have to wait 3 mths....
