I wanted to put a mild cam on my 1999 auto corvette and a 2500 stall converter. I am looking to spend 2500-3500 in parts. I needed to know what kind of cam to get and other parts that i might need to get it running good. Any help is good thanks.

You should replace, slp/ls6 oil pump, double roller timing chain, chromoly push rods, cam(obviously), valve springs(depends on what size cam as to what lift they need to support) and a good tune. Lifters are a good idea, aswell as a new intake manifold but neither are needed.
As for cam there a hundreds of options and you really need to decide what you want and what your willing to deal with. There are many streetable cams out there I would go with a nice 228-232 with around .600 lift and a 112lsa.
look for a higher stall also...in the 3k range
Yep, its crazy but when i got my legacy I couldn't believe it stalls to 3200rpms. I guess they just put bigger stalls in AWD cars.
I found this package is it any good I was thinking of the level 2 one.

A tranny cooler is a must with a convertor, 2500 stall is a waste of time/money, go for 3500.
