Curious as to how hard most of you are leaving. With a twin disk clutch, 3" drivshaft, beefed up tranny, and moser 9" i think i can leave pretty hard. The highest ive left is 4800 rpm.

Best time I've gotten is a 11.8 by feathering the clutch out at around 3k. Using M/T ets. Dropped the clutch and blew the gears apart - so no more of that for now lol. What rear gears, DRs or streets, motor specs - It usually will just come down to practice to see where the car likes to run. Might be 2k or 4k - every car will be different depending on the setup. I'd say start lower and increase as you go and see how the times react.
5500-6000 with a quick slip of the clutch. It has to be a really quick slip, and has to be right or it equals a bad bog, or bad wheel spin. I was cutting pretty consistent 1.68's with MT ET Street radials and a Moser 9" and TruTrac.
When I would lower the launch RPM to 3500ish, it would bog badly out of the hole with MT ET's on. Those tires will hook when given a decent burn out. Best time was a 11.91, with hitting the limiter on at least one gear at 117 MPH if I remember right.
Footbrake to 3k, drop the hammer on 3rd yellow.
