Ok so I cleaned my car this past sunday and when I finished I cleaned a little under the hood. When I checked my power steering fluid it looked like strawberry milk lol. Turns out the stupid cooler failed and now I have coolant in my power steering system. The cooler is a dealer part and it costs 190$, so I said F*ck that! I'm going to put a 40$ external cooler on it, my question is. What is the best way to flush the system and how much damage did the coolant cause?

ooowwwch that sucks. If it were me I would be looking for a new pump and rack. also flush the engine a few times.
People at Big O told me that i'mma have to get a whole new power steering system, because that had happened. My cooling line broke and ya it costed bout $190 to put in a new 1, but i got to have fun driving w/o power steering ^.^ much easier then my 89 Trans Am. but that is beyond the point, also u got power steering fluid in ure Engine i bet n need to get it flushed real good, and for flushing the power steerin system just undo the hose that forces fluid into the the lil power steering reservoir (after it has gone thru the system), get a gallon or more of power steering fluid, start the car and just run that thru the system untill it looks all good.
One way to flush your power steering is to
1.suck out all the fluid from the res
2.then refill with clean fluid.
3.Start the car and turn the steering wheel lock to lock 3 times.
4.Shut the engine.
Then repeat steps 1 through 4 as many times as it takes to get clean fluid. You should notice a big difference after about 4 times, but it may take more to get it to an acceptable level. Plan on using at least 3 quarts of fluid. maybe more
