so i bought c5 rims and the backs are 10.5" with a 285. when i went to put them on they were hitting the suspention bumper. i had to prelaod the suspention to make them work. sould i just cut off the bumper because if i hit a bump and my suspention raises it will hit. but if i bottom out without a bumper then it pretty much speaks for itself. input? has anyone dealt with this prob? let me know.
You mean bumpstop? The little triangle that faces downward right? If that's what it is you could have just unbolted it, one bolt on either side. Are you lowered at all those should have fit fine, do you have an adjustable pan-hard rod to center the tires? Now I think they make a kit for a bumpstop to fit but I have seen a friend use tennis balls inside the spring, and yes it works:lol: I think he used something like 6 for each side.
What tires did you get, pics? And you would get more responses in the suspension section.
yea the bump stop and the brackett it is held on by is what i was concerned about. hankook ventus evo k 110 285/ 35 zr 18. i would put a pick if you told me how. haahh
