What "special" features does this include other than posi traction, anybody know (or care lol)?
Should be 1LE suspension and 3.42's in the rear.. Been a while since I've dangled in V6 and I drink a lot
Y87 package:
Auburn Limited Slip Differential (G80)
Zexel-Torsen T-2 Limited Slip Differential (G80)
P235/55R16 Goodyear Eagle tires (QCB)
Dual Exhaust
Sport Steering (14.4:1 ratio – same as V8 cars)
Four-wheel Disc Brakes (J65)
Mine is the y87 except the dealer had replaced the muffler with a single. I of course built (cat included) custom exhaust and added the proper single inlet dual out muffler. I'm loaded and have the z28 "appearance" package as well.. Only things I don't have is leather and a v8 of course..

It might have some years but according to these PDF files it is a 3800 Perf. Pkg. in 01 anyway.
Y87 is a performance package.. It does'nt include standard wheel type which were as the pdf states either N98-N96 codes which could be ordered when new..Quote:
