Hi. I have a 2000 Camaro 3.8 v6 wit a 5 speed and a blwn motor...and my cuzin has a 2000 camaro SS that is totaled...he is giving me the motor...im doing all da wrk myself...would i b wasting my time tryna put this v8 n this body? would it even fit?

Lots of work and yes it will fit right in. But others here are going to tell you to just buy one with a v8 ect,ect.. I my oppy I'd roll with what you got in parts between the two cars. Fun project.. What happened to the 3800?Quote:

Yeah that will kill a stock 3800 for sure. They make all the stock power they're gonna make between 2000-2500 rpms.. After that torque falls off fast..:yup: Good luck..Quote:
