Does any one know if a twin disc LS9 clutch will fit on a LS1 flywheel. I know the flywheel for the LS9 is 9 bolts but I don't know about the diameter and pressure plate mounting holes. Would appreciate if any one knows if this clutch is a bolt in.

I've read that it has been done
There's company that makes the fly wheel
I don't remember who
I've never done it myself but was wondering the same thing and then a corvette mechanic named C4C5 told me he had done it
I googled the company name but never found it
He hangs out in the Corvette Forums usually Z06.com , Digital corvettes com
Etc

My SPEC 3+ was making a squeak letting it out. It had a funny wear pattern on the pucks. Only has 1600 miles. I can get LS9 clutch for $460 and will order it if I can figuer out if it will work. Cars in pieces now so I want to get moving.

Here check this guy out he is the only guy I know of to have done it
He's a pro chevy Mechanic
And he should be able to solve this for you
The only catch is you need to send me the link to the site that manufactures the Flywheels
Post it up for others as well
Thanks Von
I machined my flywheel and put the spec back in. I'll research this and will be happy to post my findings. Definatly want a twin disc next time the trans comes out. I believe this makes the 7th time it's been out. Thank you for the reply.
