I need a master cyclinder that will...

...engage the back brakes prior to the front. I have heard rumor of a master cyclinder that supposedely does just this.

So I've heard that some late 60's model Corvette's had them, but no one can manage to tell me how to tell the difference between a backwards master cyclinder and a regular.

Does anyone know where to go to find one?

For a friends circle track car

Thats what a metering valve does on a front disc/rear drum brake car. It allows the clearance in the rear drum brakes to be taken up before the front brakes get any hydrualic pressure. Maybe you can find an adjustable metering valve so you can fine tune your rear brake bias.

Just plumb in an adjustable proportioning valve. You can adjust it so the rears come on at just the right amount. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G3905/. As cutlass said do you have a metering block installed?
